For Mother's Day

I wrote a poem called Mom's Retreat and I'm certain I'm not the only mother who's ever escaped to this special place. To read it on, click HERE and leave a comment there or here on this blog. Thanks!

Happy Mother's Day. - Donna

  1. Loved it Donna....Beautiful!! Thanks for always sharing!

  2. LOL! Great poem, Donna! You hit the nail right on the head with that one! Congratulations!

And thanks for sharing that site. I had never seen it before... it looks like a great resource.

  3. Donna that was precious. It belongs in Reader's Digest! How cute!

  4. Very nice Donna! Loved the poem! You reached a lot of moms with that one!

    Blessings on your day,

    One of your Barnabus-people,

  5. This was great, Donna. It took me a while to click on the link and read it, but I really liked it and could definitely relate. I still have those moments when the bathroom is really the best place to be (to hide?) and it may take me extra-long to make it out of there :)

  6. Ha! The bathtub was my retreat, too. That and the Ben Franklin store near where we lived when the kids were little. I'd sit and look at the pattern books in the fabric department on Sat. while Jim was home with the kids. Why? It was a mindless activity, and it was an escape. Strange that we can so badly need an escape from something that we love so very much. :)
